It was a good run, but Union County unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 69-7 loss at the hands of the P.K. Yonge Blue Wave. The game marked the Fightin' Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

P.K. Yonge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Montinique Williams, who went 6 of 10 en route to 14 points along with six steals and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Williams a new career-high in points. Jada Adderly was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards.

Union County's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-13. As for P.K. Yonge, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-16.

Union County will challenge Lafayette at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lafayette will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Union County surely won't give up without a fight. As for P.K. Yonge, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-33 defeat against Trenton on the 20th.
