Sunnyslope's game  on Thursday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Monday. Everything went their way against the Millennium Tigers as they made off with  a  3-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Tigers  on October 1st, they had to take a  3-0  defeat.
 Sunnyslope never let Millennium on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19,  25-21.
 Vega Tunnell paced Sunnyslope's offense, picking up 14 kills. Tunnell got some help from  Lilli Schmitt and her 27 assists. Tunnell was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with three aces.
Sunnyslope has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-13 record  this season. As for Millennium, they dropped their record down to 19-18 with the  loss, which was their third straight  at home.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Sunnyslope will  square off against  rival Desert Vista  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Millennium is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Xavier College Prep  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
