Basketball Recap: De Beque Takes a Loss

De Beque has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-45 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sierra Grande Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 51-38 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March.

De Beque's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Sierra Grande, their record now sits at 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, De Beque and Plateau Valley will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 6:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025. Plateau Valley will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something De Beque surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sierra Grande, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Antonito at 6:30 p.m. on January 11, 2025.
