Basketball Recap: Manteca Has No Trouble Against Sierra

Manteca won against Oakdale last Saturday with 58 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Manteca Buffaloes strolled past the Sierra Timberwolves with points to spare, taking the game 58-40. That's more bragging rights for the Buffaloes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Manteca has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Sierra, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Manteca will challenge East Union at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sierra, they will face off against Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
