Basketball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley entered their game against Lorenzo on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Valley Patriots took a hard 60-46 fall against the Lorenzo Hornets. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2017.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 29-3. As for Lorenzo, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 20-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley will face off against O'Donnell at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lorenzo, they are taking a road trip to challenge Motley County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
