Baseball Recap: Bravo Takes a Loss

After flying high against Jordan last Friday, Bravo came back down to earth. The Knights fell just short of the Marshall Barristers by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. The Knights have struggled against the Barristers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Bravo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Torres, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Torres has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Bravo's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Marshall, they pushed their record up to 10-12 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Barristers beat Bravo by a score of 2-0 on Friday.
