Football Game Recap: Manitowoc Lincoln vs. Sheboygan South

Manitowoc Lincoln were successful in their last outing against Sheboygan South, and they didn't afford Sheboygan South any payback this time around. Manitowoc Lincoln dodged a bullet on Saturday, finishing off Sheboygan South 20-19. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.

Manitowoc Lincoln got off to a sluggish start, posting zero total points in the first half. As for Sheboygan South, they scored six to put Manitowoc Lincoln at a 0-6 disadvantage heading into the break. The Manitowoc Lincoln offense took control in the second half, however, scoring 20 points. The win bumped Manitowoc Lincoln's record up to 2-7. The loss dropped Sheboygan South's record to 2-7.

Next week Manitowoc Lincoln take on Pulaski at 7:00 PM. Backed by three consecutive blowout victories, Pulaski are looking for someone to give them a challenge; hopefully Manitowoc Lincoln will step up. As for Sheboygan South, they will face off against Ashwaubenon.
