Volleyball Recap: Paulding County Takes a Loss

Paulding County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Temple Tigers. The Patriots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-10.

TJ Piper paced Paulding County's offense, picking up three kills. Piper got some help from Isabella Perry and her three assists. Kate Summers controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Paulding County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Temple, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-15.

Paulding County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Alexander on the 13th. As for Temple, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Central on the 13th.
