Basketball Recap: Cary-Grove's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Cary-Grove came into Saturday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down the Guilford Vikings 47-33 on Saturday.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaleese Williams, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.

Cary-Grove's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Guilford, they moved to 10-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Cary-Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 41-39 victory against Rolling Meadows on the 4th. As for Guilford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-26 win against South Lake on the 3rd.
