Basketball Game Preview: Kalamazoo Christian Comets vs. Brandywine Bobcats

Kalamazoo Christian is 0-4 against Brandywine since January of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The Kalamazoo Christian Comets will head out on the road to face off against the Brandywine Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Kalamazoo Christian comes in on seven and Brandywine on 25.

Kalamazoo Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Watervliet 70-19. Given the Comets' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 52nd, while the Panthers are ranked 480th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Brandywine took their match on Monday with ease, bagging a 60-32 win over Bronson. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 contests by 28 points or more this season.

Brandywine's victory bumped their record up to 25-0. As for Kalamazoo Christian, their win bumped their record up to 21-4.

Kalamazoo Christian ended up a good deal behind Brandywine in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, losing 59-42. Can Kalamazoo Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
