Softball Game Preview: Rhinelander Hodags vs. Antigo Red Robins

Rhinelander hasn't had much luck against Antigo recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Hodags will head out to challenge the Red Robins at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Rhinelander came up short against Tomahawk and fell 9-6.

Kalyn Miller was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Nev Anderson also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Pacelli hit Antigo with a four-run second inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Red Robins lost 11-1 to the Cardinals. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Red Robins couldn't push the score so high this time.

Rhinelander now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Antigo, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Rhinelander skirted past Antigo 9-7 in their previous matchup back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hodags since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
