Baseball Recap: Greenville Comes Up Short

Greenville was the 12-3 winner over Riverside when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets came up short against the Bulldogs on Wednesday, falling 9-1.

Kaleb Titus was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.

Greenville has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Riverside, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenville will square off against Holmes County Central at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverside, they will challenge J.Z. George at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
