Recap: Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats vs. Ganado Indians

The Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats waltzed into their matchup on Friday with nine straight wins but they left with ten. They snuck past Ganado with a 50-44 win. For Bloomington, this counts as revenge for the 42-37 defeat Ganado walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.

Sean Darby continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 14 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Victor Reyes, who scored 12 points along with three steals and two blocks.

Bloomington has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Ganado, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Bloomington will head out on the road to challenge Weimar at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Weimar is on a three-game streak of home wins, Bloomington a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Ganado will take on Shiner at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shiner and Ganado are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
