Basketball Recap: Borger Has No Trouble Against Quanah

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Childress, Borger was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Quanah Indians as the Borger Bulldogs made off with a 64-38 win. With that victory, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 50.9 points per game.

Tahqulin Brooks continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 16 rebounds. His afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Elijah Guerrero was another key player, going 6 for 15 on his way to 17 points.

Borger's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Quanah, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

Borger and Pampa will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Borger is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.9 points per game this season. Quanah will take on Anson in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
