Basketball Recap: Kickapoo Beats De Soto for Their Ninth Straight Victory

Kickapoo had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.8 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Tuesday. They beat the De Soto Pirates by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 49-41. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Kickapoo pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points over those games. As for De Soto, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-13.
