Basketball Recap: School of the Arts Comes Up Short

On Friday, the School of the Arts Silverhawks lost to the Geneva Panthers at home by a 55-40 margin.

Geneva's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trinity Maxon, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Maxon a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Kate Good, who posted 15 points.

School of the Arts' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Geneva, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

School of the Arts didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-26 victory against Early College on the 18th. As for Geneva, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 55-30 win against Red Jacket on the 17th.
