Soccer Game Preview: Karns vs. Halls

The Karns Beavers will head out on the road to square off against the Halls Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Karns' victory against Heritage wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Beavers won by a goal and slipped past the Mountaineers 3-2. Karns haven't had any issues with Heritage recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Halls had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Sunday. They blew past the Hurricanes 6-1. Halls might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by four goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Morristown-Hamblen East from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Kevin Pendergrass led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Karns' victory bumped their record up to 3-4-1. As for Halls, their win bumped their record up to 5-1-2.

Karns suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Halls in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Beavers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
