Softball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland lost against Skyline back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Highland took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Skyline.

Highland dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Skyline, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6.

Coming up, Highland will challenge Brighton at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Brighton has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.89 runs per game on average), something Highland will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Skyline, they will host Granger at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Skyline is facing Granger at the right time seeing as Granger is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
