Truitte Carter posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
