Softball Recap: Warren Triumphs

Warren never let their opponents score on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Chino Cowboys. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Cowboys: they've now won five in a row.

Not much got past Emi Ibarra, who gave up just two hits to keep Chino off the board.

At the plate, Bella Gonzalez was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Rangel, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.

Warren now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Chino, they moved to 4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Warren will challenge Woodrow Wilson at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chino, they will take on Arcadia in a tournament on Monday.
