Football Recap: Hamilton-Wenham Regional Comes Up Short

Hamilton-Wenham Regional extended their losing streak to six on Friday, dropping them down to 1-7. They came up short against the Lynnfield Pioneers, falling 35-14. The Generals lost against the Pioneers in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 59-6 score last time.

As for Lynnfield, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-6. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Daniel Lemieux had a dynamite game, picking up 85 receiving yards and two scores. That's the most receiving yards he has posted since back in September.

Hamilton-Wenham Regional didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-6 victory against Chelsea on the 6th. As for Lynnfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 28-0 win against Saugus on the 6th.
