It was a good run, but Okarche unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 37-36 to the Amber-Pocasset Panthers. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Okarche's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-6. As for Amber-Pocasset, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

Okarche and Amber-Pocasset should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Okarche will challenge Calumet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 263 places (59 vs. 322). Okarche will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Similarly, Amber-Pocasset (ranked 37th) will meet Geronimo (ranked 215th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
