Basketball Recap: Sidney Comes Up Short

Sidney lost against Cross Plains back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sidney Eagles took a 48-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cross Plains Buffaloes.

Sidney's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Cross Plains, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing May the next time they take the court. Cross Plains will host May at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Sidney will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
