Volleyball Recap: Prout Has No Trouble Against Cranston West

Prout not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since September 8th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Cranston West Falcons as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-19, 25-14.

Prout found their leader in freshman Juliet McGuire, who had six aces and three digs. Those six aces set a new season-high mark for McGuire.

Prout's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Cranston West, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Prout will square off against Westerly at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cranston West, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Chariho at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
