Baseball Recap: Midland Valley Takes a Loss

Midland Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots.

Landon Johnson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Midland Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-15-1. As for Allen County-Scottsville, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-9 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midland Valley will host South Aiken at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Allen County-Scottsville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Franklin-Simpson at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
