Deltona waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Jensen Beach Falcons get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won four games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Deltona got a great performance from Tessa Guenette as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Guenette has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kaitlyn Caruso, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylene Mieres, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Deltona hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jensen Beach struck out eight times.

Deltona's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Jensen Beach, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Deltona will square off against Lake Howell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jensen Beach has already played their next matchup (against Keystone Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
