Softball Recap: Goodland Cowboys vs. Lakin Broncs
Goodland blew Lakin out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Lakin got their revenge. The Cowboys fell just short of the Broncs by a score of 5-3. Cowboys fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Broncs since on Friday.
Kaedance Smith spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on four hits and racked up six Ks.
