Volleyball Game Preview: Taunton Tigers vs. Oliver Ames Tigers

Taunton hasn't had much luck against Oliver Ames recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Taunton will head out on the road to challenge Oliver Ames at 5:15 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Taunton will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Milford, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Tigers blew past the Scarlet Hawks 3-0 on Friday.

Taunton never let Milford on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-9, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Oliver Ames put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Stoughton with a sharp 3-0 win.

The victory got Taunton back to even at 6-6. As for Oliver Ames, their win bumped their record up to 12-0.

Taunton suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Oliver Ames when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can Taunton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
