Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech). They walked away with an 81-69 victory over the Constitution Generals on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech who have now won eight matches in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jarrell Little, who went 6 for 13 en route to 18 points and three steals. Little's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Makaii Akridge, who went 8 of 11 on his way to 21 points.

Constitution's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Nick Young, who went 9 for 17 en route to 20 points in addition to five boards and three steals, and Khair White-Blaylock, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten assists. Those ten assists gave White-Blaylock a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Khaleek Johnson, who posted 12 points.

Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-9. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.6 points per game. As for Constitution, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.

Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-61 win against Roxborough on the 24th. As for Constitution, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-48 defeat against Imhotep Charter on the 25th.
