On Thursday, the Dodge County Indians strolled past the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons with points to spare, taking the game 52-38. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Despite the defeat, Academy for Classical Education saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jaylon Davis went 6 for 11 on his way to 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.

The win got Dodge County back to even at 7-7. As for Academy for Classical Education, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

Dodge County has already played their next game, a 74-59 victory against Wilcox County on the 11th. As for Academy for Classical Education, they will face off against Southwest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
