There's no place like home for Lawrence County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against the Franklin County Rebels on Tuesday as the Lawrence County Wildcats made off with a 60-35 win. The Wildcats have beaten the Rebels the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Rebels has come to flipping the script.

When it comes to explaining why Franklin County lost, don't look at Brayden Arnold. Despite the final result, he posted 12 points and six rebounds. That's the most boards Arnold has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Walker, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

Lawrence County's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Franklin County, they dropped their record down to 4-19 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Lawrence County has already played their next matchup, a 63-57 defeat against Tullahoma on the 7th. As for Franklin County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 35-26 loss against Giles County on the 7th.
