Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bolsa Grande). They put the hurt on the Saddleback Roadrunners with a sharp 40-18 win on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Matadors in their matchups with the Roadrunners: they've now won four in a row.

Bolsa Grande's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Saddleback, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bolsa Grande will square off against rival Savanna at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Matadors 9, the Rebels 13.4) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Saddleback is set to face off against their familiar foe Godinez Fundamental at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
