Basketball Game Preview: Beardstown Tigers vs. Rushville-Industry Rockets

The Beardstown Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Rushville-Industry Rockets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Rushville-Industry took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Beardstown, who comes in off a win.

Beardstown took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 62-35 win over Astoria/VIT. The Tigers pushed the score to 55-26 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rebels cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Rushville-Industry came up short against Pittsfield on Tuesday and fell 53-43. The Rockets have struggled against the Saukees recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Rushville-Industry now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Beardstown, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11.

Beardstown came up short against Rushville-Industry in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 44-31. Can Beardstown avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
