Football Recap: North Garland Raiders vs. McKinney Boyd Broncos
North Garland had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 56-6 loss at the hands of the McKinney Boyd Broncos.
Nick Wesloski was nothing short of spectacular for McKinney Boyd: he threw for 252 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. McKinney Boyd also got a significant boost from Kahari Jones, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 80 yards.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Garland will take on Lake Highlands at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McKinney Boyd, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Wylie East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
