Softball Recap: Poyen Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Poyen's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Woodlawn Bears on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Indians' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Poyen has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Woodlawn, the win (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 26-4.

Poyen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodlawn, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-2 victory against Magnet Cove on the 5th.
