Volleyball Recap: Reagan Starts Season with Victory at Home

Reagan gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the West Stokes Wildcats. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Reagan took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-11.

Reagan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brielynd Riddle, who had six digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Klaire Weiss, who had three digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good server: Reagan was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Coming up, Reagan will be playing in front of their home fans against South Stokes at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Stokes, they will challenge East Forsyth at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
