After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bandon, Illinois Valley was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 34-14 margin over the Bonanza Antlers. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their seven-point performance the contest before.

The victory snapped Illinois Valley's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record. As for Bonanza, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
