Volleyball Recap: Exeter-West Greenwich Takes a Loss

Exeter-West Greenwich lost against Burrillville back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Scarlet Knights fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 3-2.

Exeter-West Greenwich dropped their record down to 1-13 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Burrillville, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Exeter-West Greenwich is set to square off against their familiar foe St. Raphael Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Burrillville will take on rival North Providence at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
