The Wilson Lakemen will head out to square off against the Albion Purple Eagles at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. Wilson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.7 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Wilson beat Newfane 9-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lakemen.

Riley Robinson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits.

At the plate, Lucy Madan was incredible, going 1-for-3 with four stolen bases and three runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. Rowan Simpson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Albion strolled into their game back in April with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against Elba as they made off with an 8-1 win.

Wilson's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Albion, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Wilson couldn't quite finish off Albion when the teams last played back in April and fell 6-4. Can the Lakemen avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
