Softball Recap: McCurdy Triumphs

While McCurdy's win against To'hajiilee wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bobcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-11 victory over the Warriors on Friday. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Mariana Arambula was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted over her last 13 matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Amanda Tafoya, who scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

McCurdy's victory bumped their record up to 4-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McCurdy will venture away from home to take on Mora at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for To'hajiilee, they will challenge Navajo Pine at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
