Softball Recap: Paw Paw Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Paw Paw's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Dowagiac Chieftains on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Red Wolves' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Paw Paw's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Dowagiac, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paw Paw will host Plainwell at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.33 runs per game on average), something the Red Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Dowagiac, they will challenge Buchanan at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
