Bishop Brossart had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Pendleton County Wildcats with a sharp 12-2 victory. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

Will Wyrick looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April.

At the plate, Aidan Schultz and Ben Volmer did most of the damage at the plate: Schultz went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI, while Volmer went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most runs Schultz has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Isaac Amin, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Bishop Brossart always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pendleton County only posted an OBP of .217.

Bishop Brossart pushed their record up to 12-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Pendleton County, they now have a losing record of 10-11-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Brossart will square off against Conner at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pendleton County, they will challenge Augusta at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
