Basketball Game Preview: St. Louis University Junior Bills vs. Christian Brothers Cadets

St. Louis University hasn't had much luck against Christian Brothers recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The St. Louis University Junior Bills will face off against the Christian Brothers Cadets at 6:30 p.m.

Last Tuesday, St. Louis University took a blow against Chaminade, falling 69-38. The Junior Bills have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Christian Brothers). They came out on top against Jennings by a score of 82-70 on Tuesday. Given the Cadets' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Warriors are ranked 358th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Louis University's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Christian Brothers, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

St. Louis University came up short against Christian Brothers in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 61-56. Can St. Louis University avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
