Reagan's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They never let the R.J. Reynolds Demons get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Considering the Raiders have won nine contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Reagan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for R.J. Reynolds, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-14.

Reagan will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Demons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
