Volleyball Recap: Maranatha Takes a Loss

Maranatha lost against Monrovia back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Minutemen fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2. The Minutemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maranatha took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-16, 20-25, 25-18, 15-11.

Maranatha's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Monrovia, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maranatha will host Pasadena at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monrovia, they will challenge Schurr at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
