Baseball Recap: Richmond Christian Comes Up Short

Richmond Christian managed to slip by The Carmel School the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors lost 7-1 to the Wildcats on Tuesday. The Warriors' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Richmond Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zack Guillory, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple was Guillory's first of the season.

Richmond Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for The Carmel School, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richmond Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on The New Community School at 4:30 p.m. on May 13. As for The Carmel School, they will challenge Grove Christian School at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
