Basketball Recap: Loving Comes Up Short

If Loving was riding high fresh off their 70-26 takedown of Corona/Vaughn back in December of 2024, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Loving Falcons were outmatched by Non Varsity Opponent and fell 76-25. The match marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Loving's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Loving will be playing in front of their home fans against Mesilla Valley Christian School at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-34 win against Mary M. Knight on the 6th.
