Soccer Recap: El Dorado Comes Up Short

El Dorado pushed their score to eight the last time they played Sheridan, but on Monday they couldn't quite do it again. The El Dorado Wildcats fell just short of the Sheridan Yellowjackets by a score of 1-0. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellowjackets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, El Dorado fell to 3-1-1. As for Sheridan, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3-1.

While El Dorado had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
