The West Stanly Colts will head out to challenge the Monroe Redhawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Stanly is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.

West Stanly will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Friday, then bounced right back against North Stanly on Monday. West Stanly was the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over North Stanly. The Colts haven't had any issues with the Comets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

West Stanly hit North Stanly with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Stella Wayne (5), Raygan Gainey (3), Maddy Ervin, and Milli Vasquez.

Meanwhile, Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to Piedmont.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Stanly, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Everything went West Stanly's way against Monroe in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as West Stanly made off with a 12-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Stanly since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
