Baseball Recap: Carrollton Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

The Carrollton Trojans earned a 6-1 victory over the Marceline Tigers on Friday.

Carrollton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Marceline, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carrollton will challenge Lexington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marceline, they will take on Northwestern at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
